Spread aims at allowing the computer science students to experiment with distributed computing infrastructures of various kinds. Spread permits to build distributed applications but also to work on code distribution, distributed scheduling or even on lower layers: Spread can be used to experiment with routing algorithms or as a support  infrastructure for sensor network deployment and testing.

What is Spread?

• A mini-datacenter, composed of Tegra boards with gigabit Ethernet connectivity
• A network of  raspberry pis configured to form a wireless testbed using WalT
