Previous studies (Simola et al., 2008) have shown that reading is not a stationary process, from the point of view of cognition and eye movements. Most often, acquisition of information through reading involves several steps or phases, such as scanning, careful reading, taking a decision or confirming it. If this study (Simola et al., 2008) concerns reading, this problematic can also be found in visual search, and more generally in information seeking task, whatever the media. In this project, we plan to study this question on both contexts, one in reading, and another in visual search.
